NG/E is a solutions-focused engineering, procurement and construction business,
working at the forefront of the renewable energy transition in Australia.

While it’s at our core, we’re more than just an electrical business – we deliver
innovative solutions, working with new technologies and setting new standards for the way we think about and create energy.

We bring our technical, engineering and commercial expertise from a diverse range of backgrounds to deliver large-scale microgrids, solar farms, commercial rooftop installs and large-scale energy storage. Having electrical at our core, we also provide commercial and industrial electrical services such as infrastructure upgrades, complex lighting automation, small cell technology rollout, underground power pit works, telecommunication connections and embedded networks.

Backed by Victoria Power Networks, Beon Energy Solutions and global infrastructure leaders Cheung Kong Infrastructure with over $170 billion market cap, we provide end-to-end solutions for our clients, including; bespoke consulting and solutions design, project management and construction.

Our Story

2011 – Two Man Van

Pete Summers and Nathan Pope started their electrical business in 2011, starting out in our Cremorne warehouse (which we still have to this day).
2012 – Electrical & Energy Construction

As the business grew, we started working in the electrical and energy construction space completing office and apartment fit-outs.
2015 – VPN and NG/E merger

Victoria Power Networks (VPN) & Beon Energy Solutions acquired 50% of NG/E. As a result, our projects, team and capabilities increased.
2019 – Business Evolves

We commenced on our biggest project at this stage – the 7.5MW Microgrid at Deakin University. Our team was growing, and we opened an office in Adelaide.
2020 – Movin’ on Up (North)

We opened a new office in Brisbane and continued to expand our teams in Melbourne and Adelaide.
Today – Next Phase

Our team continue to evolve and grow as technology and times change. We’re growing from strength to strength, and working at the forefront of emerging projects incorporating new technologies, such as battery energy storage, EV charging and microgrids.
